Many young people struggle to communciate their thoughts and emotions with their guardians, and often guardians can face challenges in connecting with their young people. This communication gap can make it
especially difficult to navigate mental health challenges effectively.
I experienced this firsthand. I've battled depression since the age of 12 and have been in therapy since I was 8, yet I often found it hard to express my feelings. Especially to my parents. Through research
with friends and mental health professionals, I realised just how widespread the issue is.
That's why I founded Tomorrow's Hope in June 2023 - to bridge this gap and create a tool to act as the first point of contact, making communication easier. In December 2023, my good friend Michael joined me as
the Co-Founder after we recognised our shared experiences, passions, and commitment to making this resource accessible to everyone.
At Tomorrow's Hope, our mission is to empower young people to take the first step in their mental health journey by providing a safe, accessible, and supportive space for open conversations.
We envision a world where mental health is prioritised, talked about without stigma. A world where not only every young person has access to the tools they need to thrive; but also parent/guardians and carers have the resources they need. Through collaboration, education, and technology, we aim to create a lasting impact on youth mental health care.
